Regulate Care is designed as a clinical care platform, not a medication storefront. The information below explains how clinical review, prescriptions, pharmacy fulfillment, and follow-up care work.
Safety facts
- Regulate Care is a U.S.-based telehealth clinical care platform for metabolic and weight health support.
- Licensed clinicians review each patient's intake and meet with them in a telehealth visit before any prescription decision.
- Regulate Care is available to patients located in 48 states and the District of Columbia. It is not available in Louisiana or Mississippi.
- A valid prescription is required for prescription GLP-1 medication.
- Completing an intake or paying for a visit does not guarantee medication will be prescribed.
- Regulate Care does not manufacture, compound, or dispense medication. When appropriate, prescriptions are filled and shipped by Manifest Pharmacy, a licensed pharmacy.
- When prescription treatment is clinically appropriate, prescriptions are sent to Manifest Pharmacy, subject to clinician judgment, pharmacy availability, and applicable law.
- The dispensing pharmacy handles pharmacist review, prescription verification, availability, shipping, and dispensing.
- Medications prescribed through Regulate Care may be compounded. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, and their safety or effectiveness has not been verified by the FDA. They are prepared by a licensed pharmacy for an individual patient under a valid prescription.
- Regulate Care does not accept insurance.
- Clinical review may consider contraindications, current medications, pregnancy status, diabetes status, pancreatitis history, gallbladder disease, kidney disease, gastrointestinal conditions, allergies, and other relevant risk factors.
- Regulate Care provides follow-up support, education, care coordination, refill planning, and treatment monitoring when clinically appropriate.
What Regulate Care is
Regulate Care provides telehealth clinical evaluation, care planning, ongoing metabolic health support, and care coordination. Care is provided by licensed clinicians in independent practice, each licensed in the state where you receive care. Patients complete a medical intake and then a telehealth visit, so the clinician can assess health history, goals, contraindications, current medications, and whether prescription treatment is medically appropriate. Regulate Inc. provides the technology platform and administrative support and does not provide medical care.
What Regulate Care is not
Regulate Care is not a pharmacy, compounder, or drug manufacturer, and it does not dispense medication.
Prescription and pharmacy requirements
Prescription GLP-1 medication requires a valid prescription from a licensed clinician. If treatment is appropriate, the prescription is sent to Manifest Pharmacy, subject to clinician judgment, pharmacy availability, and applicable law.
Transparent costs and responsibilities
Regulate Care charges for telehealth clinical services and care coordination. If medication is prescribed, you pay for it through your Regulate account and are billed when it ships. Shipping is free. Regulate Care does not accept insurance, and medication availability is not guaranteed.
Clinical follow-up
Ongoing care may include education, side-effect review, dose and refill planning, medication-interaction review, care coordination, and monitoring. Seek urgent medical care for severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, signs of allergic reaction, or other concerning symptoms.
